How do we remember the formula for the area and circumference of a circle? Is repeated recitations of the formula the only way to go?
One way I found useful is to use mnemonics. We know that the area of a circle is πr to the power of 2, and the circumference of a circle is πr2. Therefore we have:
Apple Pies Are Square, Chicken Pies Are Too.
Feeling hungry? :)
