6 Times Table - Part 2

Another method to teach the 6 Times Table is adapted from Dr Paul Swan's book 'Tackling Tables'.

We first label the ends in a clockwise direction starting from 0, in 2s. Next, we write out the numbers according to the direction of the arrows: 0, 6, 2, 8, 4, 0, 6, 2, 8, 4, 0
We then add the following pattern: 0, 0, 1, 1, 2 followed by 3, 3, 4, 4, 5 to the left of the numbers above. We should get: 00, 06, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 56
That's our 6 times table excluding 6 x 10, which is 60.
