9 Times Table - Part 2

I hope you had fun trying out the first method for the 9 times table. The second method for the 9 times table starts with writing down the first digit for all ten numbers in sequential order from 0 to 9 as below:

The next step is to write the second digit, also in sequential order from 0 to 9, but this time round, start from the bottom. Once you have done it, you should have something like this:

36
45
54
63
72
81
90
Walah... There you have it, the 9 times table from 1 to 10. Do you notice anything about the 2 digits that make up every number above?
If you say the 2 digits add up to 9, you are absolutely spot on. That's right, both digits add up to give you 9. It is after all the 9 times table. :)
